SkinStudio....Those Damn buttons!

I've been doing logons for a while now and have started on a window blind. Now I've run into my first major problem: In the section "active window" "inactive window" I've replaced the images for "close window" "minimize" "tile" etc. with custom buttons of my own, but when I apply the skin, the G.D. buttons aren't visible! They aren't checked as transparent and I haven't changed the visibility values, so in my mind they should act just like the default xp buttons! Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Buttons in WB are positioned via the X Y co-ordinates for each button, this can be quite tricky if you have the wrong the bottons will not show as they arent positioned to apply in the correct place, My suggestion is to trial and error with these settings. I'm not sure if this is what your talking about but give it a try.

Sounds about right! As I understand it, as long as all the images are lined up (x y values the same) it should work. They do work, actually..... they're just invisible! I can click on the correct area ( where the button should be) and it does what it should, just can't see the little buggers!

on the per pixel frames the titlebar buttons have 8 states, as opposed to the 6 or 3 states that the non perpixel titlebar buttons use. Could that be where you are going wrong? I know I did at first.

Sounds promising! I've tried not to touch the "per pixel" items as I really don't understand what they are as opposed to "glyph image" and such. As far as I can see though, these don't have a "per pixel" attribute

Before I start on a major change on a skin I always make a backup copy so that I have a version that works to go back to! I've deleted the faulty version, so I'll have to try again. I'll make some screenshots when I start up again. Thanx for looking in on me!
