I am running Windows Xp/SP2. I have had Sound Packager running until last week when I downloaded MS security updates. Since then I cannot run Sound Packager or Icon Developer as when attempting to a prompt comes on the screen that the program is experiencing trouble and has to close. I downloaded Impulse and it is behaving the same. Any suggestions? grails78.

If Icon Packager freezes when attempting to change Icons and shows in Windows Task Manager "SDDimmedWait/SDNullOut" Try this it worked for me: Load Icon Packager, Open "Settings", Untick (cross) "Show Splash Screen When Applying Packages" and hey bingo IP will work within seconds. grails78
