ok, uninstalled start 11, no change in behavior of system tray, that is to say it does not exist. Have posted a problem report detailing the issue Glenn A Nicholson

Have not tried it without the start menu installed. This the second time that a beta update has caused the system tray to disappear. I am on the newest beta for windows 11. Also, I went into the settings for start 11, disabled the auto update told it to check for newer version and it downloaded and updated to 1.22 as well as identifiying my version of windows as an insider build. Will see if issue is still present after rebooting system Windows version is 22H2 22610.
How do you disable the taskbar in Start 11. it hides my system tray, I use it to keep an eye on the system temp and CPU usage. Without the ability to open the System tray, completely invalidates Start 11. I do not want a workaround, just how to disable it, if it cannot be disabled I will stop using the start 11 and will expect a refund, it is really dumb not to be able to disable one part of a program that honestly did not NEED to change the start bar and the system tray. <
Yes, I purchased it after I found the upgrade notice, that I never received from You.
Yep, tried that, I had to go through the registry and remove every fence entry, I then cleaned the registry, ran an SFC /scannow, and a dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. After that completed I rebooted the system and did a fresh install of fences 3. Everything is now working fine, have no clue what got corrupted to do that to not only fences 2, but an upgrade of fences 3. At least now it is working as it should Thanks Glenn A Nichol
updated to fences 3 same issue, no ability to resize, move or even delete a fence. HELP
If I go to my store, the only versions of fences aer 1.0 and 2.1. where can I get the beta download, Please
All of a sudden, I cannot resize, or move my fences. I have gone through all the settings and cannot find one that controls those 2 actions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change. This started this morning, on windows 10 pro, graphics card is an ASUS r9580x with 4 gig DDR 5. Anyone seen or heard of this, Any help would be appreciated
well, I had to think before replying, in other words even if you purchased the top of the line via Disk, you still have to put out to get the same game via steam. Good going Stardock, you made coin off of me and now you force the owners of that EXPENSIVE Collectors edition to pay more to keep the same game. Capitalism at it's finest
My question is Why does this happen at all?
So much for that, something happened in the directory, when I clicked on the shortcut I have on my desktop to start the game, bang-o same as before, when I went in to the directory there was another StardockLauncher.exe dated earlier than the GC3.exe that was there before. I have uninstalled the game again, will see if the trick still works on reinstall
renaming the stardock launcher to Nolauncher, then renaming the DC3.exe to the StardockLauncher.exe. Game has not had and issue since.
Well that worked, now can someone please inform me as to why this is happening? Thanks all for your suggestions Nichog
I have tried it both ways, if I use the launcher it reappears and the game does not start, using the GC3 exe, just causes the launcher to appear. There is NO Log files being created, nor did that directory exist until yesterday when I manually created it. As far as the DirectX is concerned you can only have it verify the files are there, it no longer does a REINSTALLATION. Will try those steps sometime today and let you know
I am able to manually create any folder in that directory. There should be NO reason for it NOT to be able to do that. I have not been able to find any permissions that can cause it. As well as the other 50 or so games installed do not have any issues accessing that directory structure. Did not create the GC3Crusade directory, will try that
64 bit windows 10 pro. motherboard is a ROG B-350-F Gaming, 16 gig ddr4 3000 memory, R9-380X video card with 4 gig of ddr5 vram, Samsung 870evo SSD games are on a WD Black 7200rpm SATA 6 drive. All with updated drivers.
I purchased this game via a hardcopy of the collector's edition. How do I know that steam has it as such? All I see is trinity as far as selections go. Nichog
Fresh install of the game, I click on play on the stardock app, and NOTHING happens, no crash report, no screen. It just does not start the game itself. I have searched using "Game will not start, Game does not start," NOTHING comes up that even matches this issue. I am a long time stardock user and gamer. I cannot remember the last time the game ran. Ok what I have tried, starting from the exe under the game directory, I get the admin permissions window, the i
Years ago, then someone really needs to remove that link from the download page of that game. I did have the CD's for it, just have not worried about it until I saw the link and yes I know how long it has been I lost over 1,000 dollars of games steam did not pickup, it was a major rippoff I tried for 2 years to get and completely lost. Where can I download the impulse app? Glenn
Well, after going through my account and noticing that the Galactic Civilizations collectors CD states login to your GameStop account to download the software, I was shocked to see NOTHING listed under my GameStop ID. So, has this software been abandoned? and I if I cannot find my CD's I am completely ou<span style="display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: #f0f0f0; color: #2d2d2d; font-family: 'Segoe UI',Arial,Verdana,Helvetica,Sans-Serif; font-size: 13.93px; font-styl
I had to be sure, but it happens after I quit some games and now on restart. View shows fences locked, I am not using sorting at all, no align to grid. The Icons sift out of sequence, such as if I have a game icon and a trainer icon for that game, I put them side by side. After the reboot, over 50% of the icons have sifted, and not to any type of sort I have ever used. This is not the first time this has happened, it has been happening off and on for the last
Where did you get SP1 for Vista, as far as I have seen it is either in a closed beta or not even in beta as of yet. Glenn
Having the same problem, where or how do you put and exception in for that EXE? It would be really nice for someone to answer this, since with the newest beta of Windowblinds the problem is still there. It took myself and the tech from GPG one hour to narrow it down to it being a problem with windowblinds. To me this means that there is a MAJOR bug with this version of the program, since it seems WB5 does not have the problem. System is P4Dual 3.2 2 gig 667 ddr2<br/
Have not gotten the skin to actually appear on the Sidebar shin list yet. Can find no simple way to have it reread the skins that are in the WB directory. Have expanded it into the root of the WB directory and under it's own directory, restarted WB, but still no listing. Anyone have any ideas? Glenn
Yes, it does. Although I cannot seem to get WB to update it's sidebar skin list. There is no option to update list, have restarted it but no joy on getting the other skin listed
