How can I get this debug.err if I can't even access anything in the main menu or anything?

HELP PLEASE: GAME OPENING SCREEN/MENU PROBLEMS in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Alright, it worked fine when I installed it initially, then the next day (Today) I open the game and see the cinematic just white or all black (DEFINITELY not how it was last night). I downloaded 9.0c of DirectX and updated my NVidia Driver for my computer. Thinking this would solve the problem, it didn't solve it at all. All the text is all over the place, the menu screen to pick from saved games and to start a new one and such is all screwed up, I have to run my mouse at the top of the screen
