Dark Avatar is going to be able to take advantage of dual cores and quad cores (Man I really want a quad core) so maybe that would be able to do more for you... Well, when it comes out that is. Other than that... Unlucky is the only thing I can think to say. Maybe some other poster will be able to say something more useful.
Ardek
having said that; every time I look at the mod section here, I am so tempted by the kryos mod cos it just seems good and keeps getting better... so maybe I will try it some time after all.
I'm a purist... I dont use the kryos mods cos... I dunno, i kinda like the challenge of making kick ass ships within the constraints provided... it's more challenging; and I'm quite chuffed every now and then... most of the time (even if i do say so myself)... I'd post some pics but it's late at night and most of my work is on my main comp (not my laptop - which I'm typing on)... but maybe one day.
Never seen them before (cos never played GC1) but they do sound good... Can't really think of a reason why they shouldn't be in here... (That means yes I'd like to see them )
Wow! An interplanetary donut shop... That kicks ass!
lol I find his english okay... I mean it's not the easiest to read but ya tend to get the gist of it (jist... sp?) Oh and keb81... Funny comments
The Southpark Wal-Mart episode is great If you're into that sort of thing and get the opportunity to watch that episode sometime then well yer do... What's this topic about again? Pirating! Aaarr! And a bottle of Rum! Two thumbs up to the piraters that actually bought it having got it free in the first place <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Congrats.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a
I have to admit I'm impressed by the frequency of these updates as well the quality of them... Really glad I got this game, I wish you guys every success
Yup congrats... lol I have no diea what a couple of things you said actually meant but it's good to hear you got it working.
Yup, well done you lot! I admit I'd never even heard of you guys until recently and I was kinda skeptical about about buying this because well to be frank I thought a small company like this wouldn't be able to make that was as good as some of the ones made by huge companies don't hate me! I downloaded the demo because well a lot of good things have been said about it and having played that I bought the
I kinda like the idea of space tugs that echelon mentioned but maybe with a low max speed or something; I mean otherwise you have a huge ball of death rocketing around the galaxy and that would kcik everyones ass from here to... there... Too unblancing in otherwords... Actually scrap that I've gone off the idea of a huge ball of death, custom ships are good enough for me...
Yup good background (save the typo)... Nice looking ships in there to...
Gigantic, just because I can... Once I've finished my current gigantic (which looks set to take a while) then maybe I'll try something smaller... Oh and at the moment I'm playing on tough because I'm fairly new to this; but I'm planning to raise the difficulty for my next game... And then see what happens from there.
lol whoa I just tend to use very fast at the moment... I feel ashamed... nah I don't really... One day I'll try the slowest options
I really need to try good... I tend to go for neutral as I can't resist the Neutral Learning Centres, it's also very nice suddenly finding that your planets have more tiles (providing you haven't already researched soil enhancement, etc)... Oh and I love the high morale... Woot for higher taxes I played evil though and that it was nice being able to invade planets any way with no thought towards t
Whilst I agree with the above post saying that people should be praised for their skill not gender, I do believe that Cari has succeeded on the skill front because well I like the AI in this and it keeps on getting better... So two thumbs up to Cari and the rest of Stardock ; without you I would be doing far more productive things in my spare time <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smile
I know probably nothing about debug files... So well I'll ignore your debug file, if it's all the same with you, and give some advice that stopped me crashing all the time.... I used to have a fairly small virtual memory page, my computer wouldn't be able to process all the infomation moving from the game (unsaved) to whatever folder it needed (saved)... I increased my virtual memory to over 2000mb (with a max of 3500... could have been 4000) and my games only crashed once since; but well I
Yer sure, why not... ( >' .' )>
Logistics I've come to accept because well it's always there; lol and yer I'm definitely not complaining about that, but as for soldiering... Erm... You sure about the inherent bonus cos I don't seem to get that one automatically... Anyway, erm... unfortunately the bug is more than that, for instance I once got +25.... I think it was Social building, or that might have been +40% but I hadn't put any points in it and if I did it would revert to the
Thanks loads, I'll bear that in mind
Heya, I haven't seen this on the forums yet (admittedly I haven't looked very far but I've had a browse, so at least I made a little effort ) Quite often when I load a custom race, I will have extra abilities as though I'd put points into having an ability... Except that I haven't put any points into it and when I check up on it I don't actually have any extra points placed in that ability.
