I see the icon with the palette but it says that i need a software to open it but i cant find the blinds software

Hi i want to install a window blind, so i have downloaded the window blind software and extracted the blind what i want to a file. i dont no wot to do next.I click add in the software then go to the folder which my blind is in but theres nothing there but when i do it through the normal my documents its in the folder. can someone please help thanks.
