I play on an AMD 3200 machine with a 256 Meg video card. Before the new patch I couldn't use anything above 2x speed or I would get choppy ( ~ 20 fps ) video. Bailknight's graphics mod was almost unplayable after about 30 mins. Now I can use the 4x speed with little chop and the 8x is about as bad as the old 2x. Can't wait for the new mod files and see how Bailknight's new version will run.

It IS So. I used two Marza's at lvl 6 to attack a pirate base with about 90 assorted ships. Triggered the first missile barrage when half of them came into range and the second when the remaining finally arrived within range. End result - two level ten Marzas one with 1/3rd damage and one only missing about half its shields. The Marza is going to be my first TEC Cap from now on. Get it to lvl 6 as fast as possible and then go hunting "LRF spam"
