A thing you should watch out for with the some of the Thanlan research, and factory structures is, they are powerful to begin with, but are even more expensive to maintain. Both start out with 12 output, and 20 maintaince. Those eventually have their maintaince reduced to 10, with 12 output.
I think the maintaince was reduced in the final version. the final factory was 8 and the final lab was 4 maintaince. (if i remember right)
For a strawman, let's say I bought an online chess-matchup game and enjoyed it. Then the developer introduced pay-for content that allowed the buyer to replace one bishop with a second queen, and then matched up those with the pay-for content with those who didn't buy it. I would leave that service permanently, and perhaps a bit grumpily. I wouldn't mind, however, if those with the bonus always played together. Now it's their game, they're free to change whatever they think bring

Actually i managed to do it by first growing enough pop to maintain the ships and then invading the yor. But i had to fight through masses of fleets of dreadlord ships and planets to get to the target planet cause it took so long. Had to do a lot of abuses though.
I'm a writer. I get paid to write. I can't charge the people I write for extra if I add a few paragraphs after they've paid for the initial article. You can't? You have an issue with your business-model then. In TA, the game designs ships for you automaticly. but there is a bug where it designs ships with more components than it can fit in one ship.

1. Enemy Ascension Starbases vanish in the fog of war including the icon for the ascension crystal when zooming out. Only a white point where the icon for the starbase should be. 2. When moving a ship/fleet on an own ascension starbase, it will look like another random ship (where you can select and create fleets) instead of a starbase.

The hate for such "for pay stuff" originated from games where you had to buy additional features to enjoy the original game in the first place. Mainly online games where you needed to buy something to be able to compete with other players.
Similarly, I love Team Fortress 2. It is a great game. And you know what? If Valve created a new character I could play as for say $10 I'd buy it in an instant. I want more characters in TF2 to play as. But you know the reaction they'd get. The

(Spoilers!!) You can easily trade ALL terrostar techs from the iconians (playing on tough). Then buy 5 constructors and 10 turns later you win. Looks like a bad joke that you can win so fast on a immense(!!) map. But if you forget to colonize one world outside the star system you loose when destroying it (and yourself). "The Dreadlords got planet Ku'vex"(or something) silly...
We however, do not witness inter-species evolution today...reindeer look similar to cats in some respects, yet they don't mate - and even if they do, they are not genetically compatible. It is also reasonable to accept that they are similar because they have been design according to a similar "blue-print." In order fo
It's not a non-issue, it's just an annoyance. Just like having to refresh the 'join games' screen manually, just like not having a ladder system for auto-matching games online and having to find them manually, just like not having a proper win/loss reporting system online,
Sorry that not every game out there has its own bnet. Also the only issues about win/losses is that people just drop instead of surrendering. which has at least been partially fixed. [quot

A won or lost battle is no evidence of something being weak. Of course you can loose with a cap heavy fleet. It was meant to be the way that capital ships depend on a fleet to support them. And there id the counter system. If you build the wrong ships the caps wont save you. Also you need to take into account that HC need the most fleet logistics than any other battle frigate or cruiser. So even if you got the same number of ships, you fleet might be still inferior to a hc heavy flee

I think it was intended the way that there a few uncolonized system. there are usually 2 larger systems and 3 smaller ones and most of the palyers will start at the larger system so everyone will have the same space to expand.

Even if it would distribute the players evenly on the system you will most likely start with at least another player in the system. If you want to start in your own system, there are a few (non random) medium maps where you do. just watch out for maps with more stars than players.

Alpha Cenaturi, Sins and Galciv II Sadly never got MoO 2. Didnt like MoO 3 cause it did not feel like a game. Didnt like IG 2 cause there was no AI on "easy" and the Ai on "Medium" was already a cheating champion. MoO1 is nice even when played today on a dos emulator.
I really think all techs to unlock ships should have their cost DOUBLED. Double sounds like a lot, but if you look at the cost of ships, the cost of the tech isn't much compared to the ship. So the tech cost doesn't displace buying many ships.
So you want so encourage spamming even more since this would make a mixed fleet even more expensiv. I cannot agree on any "double something" suggestions. Also the only problem with upgrade techs is that they get to e

Nope, also player owned structures. espacially the extra civilan labs you get in voruks labyrinth. But i think it affacts any building you own at the start of the game.
