Ok, it was my mistake of using the UI. After selecting the required sort type, I should also select "maintain sorting" to keep the sorting type selected and constantly active.

I have changed the sort order to None, to reset my "opened" count. However now I can't change the sorting back to "Number of times opened". The option is there, I select it and nothing happens. No change in icon order, no error message and the sorting option is still set as "None". Running legitimate Fences 3.0.5.12 in Windows 10
