Greetings folks, Posted a 67K game today and jumped from 43 to 34 in the character ranking. I have tried painful setting twice and got my tail stomped good. Hats off to the High Command. The Dominion is quiet working up the ranks as well. We've gone from unrakned to 14, in just over a month. Now things are starting to get fun. I let the game play decide for me. If I find that I have a number of bases or resource in close proximity, I'll let things stand with maybe just a bit of speed enhancement, especially if the Galactic Council votes to increase basic contrustor speed. In general the Iconians are toast. Though is does matter who's attacking first. Though the Iconians have four ships with massive hit points the Terran fleet is going to continue to chew through their ships round after round. Even if the Iconians manage to burn a Terran ship or even two in each of the first two combat rounds, they [Iconians] are also going to lose at least one ship each of those rounds. I haven't encouintered this problem. I do this all the time. I typically have 3 games going at any given time. 2 on desktops and one on a laptop. I post from all three. I have a bad habit of not erasing old saved files, so I'm sure I have multiple and different metaverse games saved on each computer.

Your ranking will change when the metaverse updates itself. That happens teice a day. By tomorrow you will have moved up. When you first post, you will always look out of wack with your score relative to your position prior to the additional points.
