Hi Again, I will post my WB config tomorrow when I reinstall. Perhaps I wasn't clear in my original post, but let me clarify that I have not experienced this in WB. I currently have all theme software uninstalled with the exception of TuneUp Utilities 2006 which uses WinStyler I believe. I think starkers hit the nail on the head with the XP theme service. I have concluded that it's not an issue with hardware or so

Hey All, Been having an issue with my XP start menu turning black while using transparency. I think I've narrowed it down to a windows issue, as I've upgraded my video card and still have the same issue. Also, it happens with the default Luna theme, so it's not a theme issue. What happens, for instance, is that when I make a change to the start menu (like updating the frequently used programs list), it turns black.&nbsp

I do not run them both. I bought StyleXP first, then I decided to give WB5 a try, so I bought OD. I made the mistake of not uninstalling StyleXP before I installed OD, even though I had Windows set to defaults. It took me the better part of a day to clean everything up so that I could install OD properly. I installed all of the OD components at first, so I think I will be a little more selective this time around. My main issue w

Hi, I'm currently using a program called AlphaXP for transparency settings and it works very well. I own OD but I'm currently using a visual style from StyleXP, which I also own. I'm having some issues with the start menu sometimes turning black. When I move the mouse over it, the individual menu items come back, but the shell does not unless I logoff or restart. I am not sure if this problem is related to Windows

It is still around, you just have to dig a little on Google. Downloaded it last night--I paid 0.99 for it--and they also had an installer package with his theme that included icon packages and all, plus the theme in both wba and msstyle format. That one was 52mb, however, so you should have a bb connection.

I am using OD and WB5 and I'm interested in changing the default font size and res settings for WB themes. Can I use the standard version of SS to do this, or do I need to upgrade to pro version? I am running 1600x1200 res and I need larger font sizes. Some of the WB themes I want to use always default to normal font size when Windows starts. Thanks &n

I'm using WB 5 as part of the OD package. I'm using 1600 x 1200 res since that's the native res of my monitor. I like my fonts a little larger so I set the font size to large fonts in Win Display Properties. My fonts are fine until I logoff or reboot and then the fonts default to the normal size. Looking in the advanced properties and selecting individual fonts for things such as icons, menus, etc. they always revert to 7pt.
