Thought I had this problem but I realized after a while what I was doing wrong. Don´t know if everyone else posting here has done the same... but you need to move the bottom of the whole window to the edge of the screen and release it there for it to collapse down, not the bottom edge of the Fence bar as I did. Would be nice if that was clearly explained in the configuration window somewhere.
