I'm trying to add translucency to an application with WindowFX 3.0 and everytime I try to add any application to the transparancy feature WindowFX will crash. Is there something I can do to make this work because I'd really like to add transparency to this application. Im using Windows XP home edition with sp1.
Using the Arrow skin, Im selecting the close window button which usually flashes red and trying to turn that feature off so that when I go to close the window it does not flash red. The other buttons which flash blue Im not bothering with. Playing around with skinstudio, turning the animation on the button from 3 to 0 seemed to do the trick, at least within skinstudio itself, but I could be wrong. Im thinking of buying Skin Studio but with the trial version I keep getting the same error whenever I try to run a saved skin. Basically all I am doing is loading a skin, adjusting animation levels on one button from 3 to 0, and then saving the skin under a different name. When I try to open this skin in WB config, the config shuts down. When trying to run the saved skin under Display Properties, I get an error saying "exception occured when trying
Having just "vistafied" my XP desktop (using vistaxp and some great shareware programs), Im trying to figure out how to emulate the Start Menu in Vista which is more economical in that a sub menu comes up within the Start Bar itself to list programs. Does anyone know of a shareware program for XP that can accomplish this same task?
