I feel silly asking, but apart from Object Desktop Manager, which Object Desktop programs do you have already installed? Have you tried uninstalling OD Manager and reinstalling? Also please run winver and post your Windows version.
I installed Deskscapes long ago, and recently updated to 24H2. No problems whatsoever.
