Probably because WB wasn't designed to work with MSStyles. Frequently customizing apps working in different ways on the same elements of the GUI will conflict. I doubt SD will assign dev time to make them compatible. What you describe in your 2 is probably caused by MSStyles system files "patch". Perhaps you can request a special mod of MSStyles from its devs to work with WB, and not "patch" system files.
