It would be nice if while using windows explorer's save location function, you could also double click on a portal folder to get to that location. to save a downloaded item. For instance when printing to pdf earlier today, I wanted to save it to a location that has a portal on my desktop. Rather than being able to see and select the portal via the windows explorers window, I had to instead navigate through the regular directory tree to the actual spot. Thanks for this! Was getting very annoying, there should really be a "check for updates" option in the Fences settings. Btw, does this enable/disable the check for *every* piece of Stardock software on the system or just Fences?

Island Dog: Any reason this Movies & TV & Books sub forum doesn't show up on the GalCiv3 forums page? There is a concurrent thread started there via the Life Universe and Everything sub-forum. Both sub-forums (fora?, forii?) show up when viewing via the elemental forums.

I think the last time I changed my avatar it took a couple hours to show on the forum I was using, and maybe a full day for the new avatar to show on old posts on a different Stardock forum.

There is a setting in Windows that cleans up broken links on the desktop. I have found that shortcuts to files on my NAS must have sometimes been showing as such and were being deleted by Windows. I'd guess it was random during simultaneous scheduled reboots of the NAS and when windows was scanning for those broken links. Shutting off that feature in Windows stopped the repeated (and annoying!) deleting of shortcuts out of my fences.

As the title states, I am moving from two computers with one monitor, to two computers with two monitors. Is there a way to configure this so I get dual screen for my main computer sometimes and one computer each-side by side at others? Thanks for any help!

Just want to post to say that I am loving Multiplicity 3.0. I was also very happily shocked when I found I could even shift over to another computer before windows is logged in. Being able to use the same keyboard/mouse/monitor to log in to windows is great! I was certain I was going to need to get logged all the way into windows before being able to employ Multiplicity's benefits. Great surprise! [e digicons]:D[/e]

I know in Fences 2 beta, the icons are not locked. They are snapped to a grid, but I can easily put them in whatever order I please. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.

LOL, just don't do it like Apple does so you won't have to worry about getting sued! But in all seriousness, I agree. Perhaps something like a large number popping up and quickly fading away in center of screen as you swap pages?

You guys do a really great job of combining accounts. That seems like one of those messes a typical customer support department would really mess up repeatedly and completely.

So, I received the email the other day saying try the beta. I had never previously installed Fences on any computers, but did have access to it via Object Desktop. So after installing Fences 2.0 beta via the new Stardock Central app, and then rebooting it is showing up in Stardock Central Installed Software section as being "1.80 [Beta]". I also downloaded the file separately through my account via the download page on the web. After installing via this method and then rebooting Stardock Cent
