I have also encountered the same issue both with my own system (for Steam shortcuts) and a family member (with a drive shortcut) with Fences causing explorer to crash. In both our cases I can confirm that moving them shortcuts in question into a folder, and then placing the folder into Fences, does seem to stop the cashing. So this does work around the problem, even if it's not a real fix. Hopefully this can be fixed in a later update, but for now at least there is a work-aroun

I've been having the exact same problem too, it's even caused some programs to crash. The idea of moving some of the shortcuts into a folder sounds promising. Hopefully they'll fix it in the next patch.

It may be different for other operating systems, but on my Windows 7 computer whenever I change the appearance settings for Tiles it will disable the "auto-hide" on my task bar. It's not a big deal, I just need to go back and re-enable auto-hide. Although, it seems there should be a way to keep that from happening in the first place. Other than that I wished that it better handled web page shortcuts. Those saved with Firefox as the default browser don't show an i
