I have this problem as well. I used an old star dock account, which had my real name as the user name. That didn't matter back then, since I only played single player, but with Demigod I've started playing online. And I really don't want my real name to show in every game I'm involved in. I've changed username on the account, and it still displays my real name in game. :(
