I just purchased the Revenge of the Snathi and tried out their campaign. When I move my survey ship over the trapped Terran ship, I get the trigger saying that its been captured, but the ship disappears. Kind of makes the scenario a bit more challenging. I'm on the latest build.

I have also ran into this problem. Early in the game I designed a small defender class ship and my design saved successfully. I didn't try to redesign any ships until after I had the Advanced Navigation Centers. I then tried to design a ship and upon saving and exiting the ship designer my newly created ship was not in the build list nor in the shipyard. I went back and tried to design the exact same ship again and I received the message warning me about overwriting the ship design. I o

Dark Avatar crashed after a random event occured. The event was something along the lines of "Starbase 15 is no longer beaming resources to the Thalan empire and is now beaming resources to you." When this occured many parts of my interface when black and started to flicker. The game continued, however I was unable to find any many of my buttons and the game froze up shorty thereafter. When this occured I heard the Windows error chime in the background, however I wasn't able to bring up the st

The diagonal scrolling was evidently taken out because when you go to click on the Turn button it would always scroll somewhat to the bottom right (yup, that would be really annoying). I've found that the best way to move your view is to use your mouse wheel to scroll out a little bit then left-click-drag the map. I've found this to be much faster for moving around the map than scrolling and it also lets you get a quick look at the territory as it le

Thanks everyone for the posts. I absolutely love the idea of the gift starbase. I've used the "take the planet you can't hold and give it to your neighbor" tactic but I hadn't thought of using starbases as Greek gifts. Thanks all.

There may be a bug in the diplomacy section in bribing races to declare war on other races. I've picked up every diplomacy enhancing skill in the game except supreme majesty and star federation, plus I have +70 racial to diplomacy and I was planning on using my diplomatic prowess to get the other races to fight together while I sit back and watch. Kind of my own personal idea of arena football. However, when I use the "attack.

Um, you don't want to stop you population from growing, you want the largest pop. possible. Pop. = money = power. Remember that moral only is important in certain circumstances. 1) 100% moral gives double the pop. growth. When you want to improve the size of your colonies this is the way to do it (note: this is currently broken and won't actually double your growth rate, hopefully will be patched soon). 2) During senate electio

Currently Racial population bonuses, government population bonuses, and 100% moral bonuses do not increase your population growth. Here is the process I used to discover the bug: (100% morale) 1-Create a race with no pop. growth bonuses 2-Verify that each turn .20 pop. growth occurs 3-Drop taxes down to 0% to increase planetary moral to 100% 4-Leave planet view open when pressing the turn button and the pop. gr

Excellent game, by the way!! Here are some bugs that I've noticed while playing 1-Population growth does not double when Approval/Morale is at 100% (pop. seems to grow/shrink correctly at other approval levels) 2-Mouse disappears on occaison when alt-tabbing as well as during screen transitions (i.e. after a technology is finished researching) and double clicking planetary improvements. In an 8 hour gaming session this bug occurred 4 times. Sorry I don't have a step by s
