Dodo, I agree with you about supporting Stardock. I wish more companies did business the same way. As far as the aesthetics, the game play is the most important thing to me. But I do enjoy designing my own ships almost as much as playing the game.
By the way the people that want more hulls and jewelry are in the majority just not everyone is willing to pay online with a credit card. Also the amount of Stuff in the pack is going to be the biggest determining factor when people decide whether or not to buy it. If the software to make the hulls was somewhat inexpensive, I would agree it should be left to modders. Conquest, if I could afford a few thousand dollars to buy Maya or Studio Max I would make my own hulls. But since I can't I'd be willing to purchase a large quantity of someone else's time, effort, and personal expense. And I don't think Wade knows how to be you.
