yup indeed, It's rather useless to actually research the survey thingy cause when you have researched they are all gone already. Except when you play with 2 on a galactic map but who does that?

4) The game ends if one of the four victory requirements are done. No time limit. 5) Play at smaller maps first to get the grip of the game. 6) It depends how you play. I always keep an eye on the graphs, how the others are evolving and checking their science.

survey is something different then sensors It's to find anamolies. That's why it's so big. If you go further in the research brand, you'll find similar small but good sensors things for your ships. Alliances I don't seem to be having problems! I often get someone close with me. I just try to emliminate the - factors and after a while they get close with me and I can ask an alliance. Granted they have never asked me before.<br/

Minor races are only good to conquer, for the rest they suck major.
