I remember a while ago, Brad gave an example of the unlimited poly capabilities of Gal Civ 2. Specificly he used a movie quality klingon ship (Cant remember which type). I was wondering if anyone know any more high quality sci-fi ships, where I can download them, and how I can put them in game? Thanks.

Here's what you'll probably want to do if you dont have a fleet manager. Put a fleet outside your planet, and set it to gaurd. What happens is, it'll ignore that ship until an enemy ship comes within like 5 squares, then it focuses on that ship. At that point, just attack the ship with your fleet! Keep it stupid, simple.

I like the idea stated previously. It would be great to be able to save a ship's base hull (Bling and basic Hull design) but it would remove all the modules. So no matter what game you were in, you could just open up your saved ship, throw on your current tech, and bam your good to go.

Or if a planet you captured through influence gave you it's techs etc. Definitly something to consider.
I'm thinking it would be as simple as adding in new parts in the ship creator, if you wanted to add on to an existing hull style. I mean, thats not a huge mod, but it would count. Is it possible to add in addition hull styles with all your own custom parts? Can you Add in extra races? Like a custom race with a pre included attributes/portait? Basically what im asking is what all can you do in adding new content?
