Thank you. Hopefully it's resolved. I will not know for certain until my subscription renews. You'll hear from me again if I was charged twice.

I'm already done that. The only response was two identical emails a few minutes ago, both claiming that my subscription had been updated. This is far too vague to be helpful, as it doesn't answer my actual question. Why am I receiving two emails for every reply from you, and why does my Stardock app think my subscription is expired, when it's clearly still valid until June 26? I will not file another ticket. Respond to the original one properly.
I'm afraid it's too late for that as I no longer have the email. I'm obsessive about keeping my mailbox empty unless I absolutely need to keep something. Bad in this case, as I didn't mean to delete those notices. *Blush* Also, my web browser has nothing to do with incoming emails. I don't use a browser to read email. That's what Thunderbird and Outlook are for. Stardock did send two messages a few minutes apart.
Something is very wrong with Stardock this morning. I received two reminders that my Object Desktop subscription will be renewed in a few days. I only have one subscription, so this is error #1. Error #2 is that the "Manage Your Payment Details" link brings you to a page that requests an email address. Entering it spammed me with multiple identical emails with the same useless link. It says "Click here to manage your orders" but instead it just sends another copy of the same message a
Thank you. So I can ignore it. Cheers!
This seems suspicious, as you have a perfectly good distribution channel through Object Desktop and the "Check for Updates" feature in Start11 itself. Is someone trying to hack your customers or is this legitimate? My system says I'm running beta 0.55 now, yet the update you're pushing through email is also version 0.55, so what changed?
v3.12 worked for me, thank you.
Move all desktop icons/items to a folder and re-enable Fences. That fixed it for me. Take the items out of the folder until Fences crashes and you will find the culprit that caused it to crash. Sorry for the DF and WE people having issues. Good luck with that one... [e digicons]:([/e]
That's an interesting option. Most of my desktop icons are simple shortcuts, but there are a number of Steam l
Rolling back to 2.09 worked. The other solutions do not because I'm not running Wallpaper Engine, there is no crash reported (2.10 quietly fails), and the purge BAT cannot be downloaded as Windows 10 says it's unsafe and won't allow it. ("This file cannot be downloaded safely.")
The problem is, no warning was given at all. The link simply did nothing. But when I tried "save link as" that popped up Windows 10's complaint and I was able to select KEEP. I'm not going to run this BAT though, as I found a workaround. See below.
I updated Fences to version 3.10 last night and turned off my PC. When I restarted this morning, there were no icons on my desktop. The menu that appears when you right-click on the desktop said "Activate Fences" on top, but that did nothing. I had to roll back to 3.09 to recover my icons. I'm running the latest version of Windows 101, version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1
Deleted and moved to the proper thread. Sorry about that.
Thank you. That solved it.
Wanted to download it, but it's missing from Object Desktop on my computer. I have the latest software, and I've enabled "show betas", so I don't know what's going on.
I just received an ad from Stardock, claiming that CursorFX is now compatible with Windows 10. Fantastic, but it's not actually available in the Object Desktop manager. I've enabled betas, rebooted, nothing works. Help.
The latest version is 3.0.7.6, but it's a beta so you might have to enable beta builds to see it. Not that Object Desktop Manager works properly.; it spams me twice a day with update reminders for the version of Fences I've already installed.
I did, but it appears my Object Desktop subscription has expired. That probably explains the issue.
I have Fences 3, Start10, IconDeveloper and IconPackager installed and registered, yet none of them appear in Object Desktop Manager. Has the Desktop Manager been discontinued? You do like to randomly change delivery systems.
You're not alone. I've had the same notice several days in a row. Stardock Central apparently has a bug in the database.
Is 1.16 beta different from the version of 1.16 you pushed automatically? If so, I'll try it. But if not, the right Windows key is still broken. My only access to the Windows 8 menu is via a shortcut, or pressing Ctrl + the START button.
It's possible, but given that I've had the same email address since the 1990's, and have been a Stardock customer since 2001, it seems unlikely that they'd all fail. In any case, I don't have a ticket for this particular issue, as I hadn't encountered it until recently. I'll submit one.
I have the same problem. I'm running Fences and Deskscapes on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. Graphics card is an nVidia 560 Ti with the latest non-beta drivers. I'm hoping there's a real fix soon. I have repeatedly contacted support@stardock.com. They never reply.
Thank you, Neil. Disabling FXAA fixed it. Unfortunately, WindowsFX causes too much lag in other programs. It dropped Skyrim from playable, to
Every animation in WindowsFX 5 displays an opaque black background, ruining the effect. I am running Windows 7 64-bit on an nVidia 560 Ti graphics card. I expect it might be related to DeskScapes, as that program used to conflict with your Fences product.
You are not alone. The situation under Windows 7 is even worse. If RightClick is running, Explorer crashes as soon as you try to right-click on anything. Unfortunately, it appears RightClick is officialy dead. In another post, Frogboy states that RightClick, Keyboard Launchpad and unnamed other Stardock programs will no longer be supported, though their features may find their way into new applications.
