I uninstalled OD1.3 before uninstalling OD1.9 already in the first place. I repeated the procedure with no positiv effect - still problems with the start menu launcher and the systray icons. @whatever: Thanks for the hint. But also removing the OD folder before installing OD1.9 in program files did not help.

I found two problems regarding the new start menu docklet: Sometimes I get the error "ObjectDock was unable to find the start menu to show". Only if I restart OD the start menu docklet works again. If the start menu comes up, it does appear at the normal position, not near the "start button". If you open the start menu by clicking the start menu docklet, a further click on the desktop yields "StartMenu helper file was injected but failed to take effect"... These might
