Six El Sid

I downloaded DesktopX, and was not particularly entralled by it. I uninstalled it. However, since I uninstalled it, now I have the problem that the computer doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that the start bar is there. Whenever I maximize a window, it doesn't take up the whole screen but fit tightly to the top of the start bar, it takes over the whole screen and completely covers the start bar.
