Jagged Knife random event problem in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I'm playing a game as the Yor, and I got the random event where the Jagged Knife minor race forms from 24 cities taken from other races. 4 of those were taken from me, and it also said the Jagged Knife get every technology owned by every race it takes a city from. What's weird is that when I took my cities back, loads of planetary improvements were missing, as though they'd been deleted because the new race couldn't use them. Surely this shouldn't happen if they've been given all my techs? So
