If you are using the 30 day trial version of WB5, than some skins you download (mainly ones with semi transparancy in the boarders, start menus, right click menus, etc.) will NOT look as they should. This is because in the trial, you can't use the per pixel (transparency). Now you may be wondering... "but I can in some skins". Alrighty, I hope this is what you are asking about: Before we start, we have to have an image. So open up Photoshop, or your photo editor of choice. Hopefully it has transparancy (so no MSPaint here ). I have this same problem >_>. I had an old nVidia card (can't remember what #) and got a new one (5200) a few weeks ago. Nothing fancy, but it works for me. I started having this problem after installing a WB skin (Novum OS) and using that. Now no matter what skin I use, it spaces the icons . I can move them back into normal spacing tho. It's not a big deal

I have a hunch on .pdf. I have never been able to have this icon skinned (given the default looks great with my current icons). I think it may be because when viewed in tile mode, a preview is given >_>. I have never been able to get "preview" type files to be skinned. If that border is 1px in size, luck would have it that it would disappear . When an image gets resized, it gets slightly blurred. So I think the problem would be that because the outline is only 1px, it just gets rid of it, or makes it a VERY light grey tone >_>. If you want perfect 16x16px icons, then create each one at 16x16 with a boarder.

Easy way? Download and install Window Blinds (which you have done). Then download the window blind skin and extract it if it's in a .zip file (which is done). Now you should see an icon that looks like a paint palette. Just click it, and the blind will install itself . Sure you can add it by hand thru the windowblinds program, but this way is alot quicker <
