Firefox URL Text Not Showing Up?

I was just browsing the internet one day, and my firefox crashed. I loaded it back up, and suddenly the text in my URL locator bar doesn't get displayed @_@.
I can still load websites; everything works like normal. I can get the bar to update if I copy a URL into the bar. Then it will update the URL as I browse that particular website. But if I go to another site, the bar keeps the last URL displayed.
I have tried switching themes, rebooting my computer, everything I can think of... except a fresh install. I don't know if that will reset all my extension customization, or maybe get rid of them entirly.
Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, how did you fix it
? Also, I ma using the newest FF (1.5.0.2).

. I went downstairs for a drink, and while getting one, told her about the problem. I told her how I had to re-install firefox. She told me to use IE cause all those plug-ins I use probably messed something up. Then it hit me. So I disabled all the plugins using the Mr Tech Local Install. Sure enough, the URL text was back
