Reply to DL vs DA in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

My computer is pretty close to yours, but with a gig of ram and a Geforce 6600gt (AGP) instead, and I'm having massive slowdown problems, but at least no crashes. After a few turns, scrolling around the galaxy goes from frames per second to seconds per frame. I've updated every driver and fiddles with every setting, but no good.
