This article is very informative and well written. I, too, have tried many different programs aimed at keeping my kids safe online, agreeing, of course, that nothing beats keeping my wife and I actively involved in their activities. What I really liked was the activity report. It just makes me all the more interested in Vista than I was before. Well done, Island Dog. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smi

Is it just me, or does it seems to be open season on Christians these days? We have no Jiihad in our bible. If you are or not a Christian, I would hope that you would be able to plainly see the injustices being brought against those of Christian faith. Christian high school students not being allowed to form Christian clubs in their own school, yet Muslims and anyo
Sounds like fun!
And this might help: What’s the difference between a cult and a religion? A Good PR campaign No, by their actions are they know. And I do believe in the biblical account of creation. The timeline, I don't know, I wasn't there. And, no, I'm not offended. The path to understanding and respect
It is so good to hear and even better to say though some would worry and others would pout that we may offend those that hear with a doubt let me say it once more so that all may be clear that this holiday season is without peer the most welcoming day on this wonderous sphere for none will be shunned none be put out all are invited your kin and yourself for Christ came in silen
I base my personal morality on one's action's impact on other people. What I mean by that is that as long as what someone does has no negative impact on other people. For example, if someone wants to sit in his house and shoot heroin and masturbate for 16 hours a day, I have no problem with that. I personally wouldn't choose that
Sorry, but downloading someone elses work is stealing. I don't see any grey area at all. Did you pay for it or has the artist given you a free copy? Help me understand how walking into a music store and getting a five fingered discount on a cd I've always wanted is stealing, but downloading the same cd on-line is not? Contrary to popular belief, there is such a thing as right or wrong. At least, that's what my mamma taught me. <
Quite right. Born into the church as a preacher's kid, went out into the world as a rebelious youth, compared what the two offered and made up my own mind based on my own experiences. The Bible is the true Word of God, Jesus did die for our sins, the Holy Spirit is the ultimate comforter and friend. You may disagree, but that is your choice. The choice we all have to make. Choose wisely! There is no makeup test.
You are a genius, yraq, and I really appreciate your help. Merry Christmas, pal!
Your problem is a firewall....Activate.exe must be given permission. Look in the firewall logs and where it shows blocked....change it to allow and try Activate again. I looked all over the log and still couldn't find the cause to my difficulties. I really appreciate your wanting to help. Mike H. at S
Man, I would love your help. I've been a user for a long time and I need my fix! I'm running an HP Media Ctr model m7170n. 3ghz 250gb hd 1 gig ram When I open SDC it asks me to activate my product. I enter my e-mail and password, press activate... then nothing. It just sits there unres
Thanks for the advice, yraq, but I've tried that already. Several times, to be exact. Nick at Stardock has been very helpful with my problem, but even he has been unable to find a solution. I appreciate the thought, pal. Thanks.
I hear it's great. I wouldn't know. StarDock Central stopped working on my computer a couple of weeks ago and nothing seems to be a fix. Shame. I'm missing out on a lot of good skins.
I would be more excited if I could get Stardock Central to work! Nick's been trying to help, unloading/re-installing/offering sacrifices to Mr. Wardel...so far with no luck. Maybe it's cause I couldn't find the virgin for the ceremony and he was upset I used a large photo of Bill Gates instead. Inquiring minds want to know.
Works for me. I'm not a designer by any stretch, but I appreciate good work when I see it. That's why I subscribe and have Object Desktop. I don't like to get something for nothing if there is skill and time involved. It's only right to pay an artist for his/her work. 'nuff said.
Thanks so much for your help. Deleting Azenis did the trick.
I'm having the same problem, but when I tried your solution, I still had the problem. And I was installing from IconPackager. Very frustrating. Any ideas?
I ain't takin' your orders, pal!
"recalcitrant" Anybody seen my dictionary?
2.1 MILLION REGISTERED USERS? Boy, do I feel insignificant!
Works for me. I paid for Windowblinds and get great support. Why should XP be any different?
Wait! There are other sites?!?
You are just great! Did the trick. Not quite as convenient as before, but as long as it works, right? Thanks, pal!
Strange thing has happened a few days ago, possibly since I installed XP SP2. I can download a wb skin to my desktop as usual, but when I double-click on it, the way I used to, it doesn't install. Instead, it just opens the file. I've tried opening it into a new file in the wb program, with no success. Everything is up to date, so this has me stumped. I don't pretend to understand how to write skins. I just love to use them. I'm a level 4 subscriber with more time one my hands than brains in my
