Hi all.... I was also having this very annoying problem since changing to Windows 10. My solution is to go to.... ObjectDock settings. then select Troubleshooting options. then UnSelect the six option boxes. This has worked perfectly for me. You can try unselecting each option in turn until the problem returns. I didn't bother as it was running fine again.<br /

I was told to run the tool also. Sent it in and heard back. Said I should uninstall/reinstall. Suggested a windows update since Win10 broke something? Not sure I'll go that way, even though it's annoying to use, plus I can't remember how much is involved to get it set up again. If Win10 broke it, fix it or stop saying it's compatible.
Same thing here. Hanging on windows 10 build 10240 x64. I had received a notification from stardock about which programs were w10 compatible, objectdock was on that list... Looks like they didn't bother testing it.
I got the same email notice. It's not compatible, exactly the opposite, it's compatible with everything but Win 10. Not sure why they
Seeing the same now also. I've been running an in place upgrade to Win 10 since a couple days after the rollout. But I'm fairly sure the small lag or momentary freezing only started happening the past week. I'm guessing after a Windows update, of which there have been many.
I'd like to think that the release of Start8, arguably the world's most popular Windows 8 specific product, is a good start for Object Desktop users. Decor8 is about to be released. DeskScapes, WindowBlinds and WindowFX are likely to either be released or show up in beta in the next 60 days. Windows 8 has only been available a short time and their betas kept breaking things every build they put out (we had Windo
I've had the same problem with the paid version from the start. It disappears. Clear the cache and it seems fine for a few days, then crashes again.
I've installed WB 5 via SD Central. Appears to install fine. But will not apply skins, except for Windows Classic and XP Style, using either WB or Desktop properties. Always reverts to either of those when trying other any other skins. What's wrong??? WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.51 (build 97 x86)) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on
Followed your instructions and have been crash-free for the past four days. Will monitor and report back here if it starts again. Thanks again.
There are only four .ini files in the folder. Is that it? How does deleting the files help or solve the problem? Thanks for the info.
I have the reg. version 1.90plus build 535u installed. Great app except for this issue. When I wake my monitor up after it power downs, ObjectDock occasionally is gone, crashed,no error message, nothing in event viewer. It appears to be random as is only happens a couple times a week. I've duplicated the crash on my laptop after trying an installation on it. Any ideas or similar problems?
