I must concur with Sir JayG. I would hate to sacrifice a popular section for the sake of an artificial variety. It would be like Walmart getting rid of popular brands of shoes to make way for kerosene powered lawn ornaments.

Reading through that morass of hatred, envy, and deliquency was like watching a car wreck. It's wrong to gawk but it's hard to look away. Maybe it is due to my gender but I must pose this question; why are you even dignifying them with a response? Perhaps it would be instructive to pose it a different way. If you were all together in ''real life'' would you waste your effort trying to discuss something with some teenaged geek? You're dealing with anti social geeks over there.

I started using WinStyles when it went 1.0 on Object Desktop. It is what I use now to control everything. My only critical remark on it would be that it should have previews more easily accessible.

I would like to see WindowBlinds skin the spinner controls. That really sticks out on my machine. I think too much attention is spent on Windows XP. How many software-buying people have Windows XP right now versus the warez people? It appears from my vantage point that Stardock gets too worried about satisfying the hacker crowd and not enough on the jane and joe user crowd.

I am acquiring MS WinXP within the next week I hope so I'll get a shot at it. Speaking of ''communities'' I spent the better part of my free Saturday evening reading that customize.com idiocy. I cannot conclude what is worse; the users there or the administrators there.

I've never made a skin but this contest sounds like a lot of fun and I have started toying with skinstudio. This will be my first skin and it won't be pretty. But I'm going to try. Who should I represent? Since i'm not allowed to rep wc, which site shoudl i? I want to represent a site that is similar to Wincustomize in the way the site treats people with dignity and kindness and maturity but also a site that could use a little help.
