Personally I think that labeling it 'Possible Identity Theflt and Security Risk' is greatly overblowing the situation. I do however, understand that it would make people uncomfortable. Fuzzy: exactly how long did you wait before you tested to see if the feature was working (or not)? There is a massive amount of data that has to be updated when you change that option, combined with server caching, it could be up to 20 minutes to see the full effect. I have another question about the timestamp issue (I know it's beating a dead horse) but would it be possible to allow the users to select their time zone so the timestamp will be correct for each user, or would that be too much modding? 47songs : I'm sorry but we cannot reproduce that error with firefox 1.5.0.4 (several people here have tried). We'll continue to investigate.

I'll send this off to T-Man to take a look at. But we've tested the current versions of IE, Firefox and Opera and can't reproduce this error. At this point I do appreciate you reporting the issue and we will have a look at it, but further issues with IE 7 (beta any) should probably just be emailed to me and I'll archive them. When the first stable IE7 is released we'll have a look over the archived issues and make sure none of them are present.

As with any other beta software, the inner workings are completely open to change - at any time - without any notice.
