I have previously purchased some of these, when they still were MyColors. So I have to re-purchase them ?? O_o

So if MyColors is no longer supported, why are these themes still available to buy: https://www.stardock.com/products/themes/
The prob is VERY widespread, lots of different machines are affected (Google helps here). It is enough to say that I have Windows 7 64-bit and DX11-cimpatible graphics card. I just wonder if FE players have found some magic trick to avoid this.
Well, my system suffers from quite famous illness: the games cannot detect DirectX 11. From what I've learned, this is not related to video drivers, it's rather Windows issue. And since FE runs solely on DirectX 11, I expected to find some topics about this here, but none found so far. So I am hopeful that the game can somehow find its way to DX11 and be enjoyed? Can somebody please help me cure DX11 issue? O_o
When you start a low-res full-screen game, Windows will disable Aero - perhaps for some compatibility reason. And if you use any Folder Portals, they will be disabled. Well, this is OK to this point. But Fences 2.0 will display message popup telling that Folder Portals are disabled when Aero is not working. So after I exit the game, I usually get about 10+ of these pop-ups spamming my screen. O_o You'd either make Folder Portals to work in Classic mode or disable this pop-up or something.
Or they will make another service to support Object Desktop? E.g. new Impulse owner is gaming company, they may not be interested in software-related portion... O_o
Well, we've paid twice for ObjectDock to just get it working (and it's still buggy). Now what they do? Tweak it a little, rename it, and voila - WHOLE NEW PRODUCT! With old bugs, presumably. Now pay for it third time, Stardock fans! Is my love for Stardock fading away? You guess! =(
Since tactical battles are discussed here, I'd like to add that the game crashes whenever I try to harm a ranged unit. My enemy has some archers, and I have only melee units. If I kill the archer with spell, it's OK. But whenever I corner them and try to defeat in melee, the game allows me to do only one strike and then freezes. Perhaps the computer is annoyed of me trying to destroy his ranged units, as it thought they are invincible. O_o
I believe it would involve just redefining font sizes, so that Windows ignores global font size settings for ObjectDock UI. I also believe that this issue is discussed on lots of developer forums. I also believe that WindowsBlinds somehow works around these font issues (at least when I applied WindowsBlinds themes, the fonts returned back to small sizes for most window elements). As mentioned in another thread, UI requires some work anyway, for example there are backup/restore functio
There is standard Windows feature that allows to change font size system-wide. Many people with eyesight impairments choose to make fonts bigger, to avoid eye strain and tiredness. You can find more about this feature here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-vista/Make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-or-smaller If you choose font size larger than default, all Ob
The game FORBIDS to place cities too close. If it allowed then it's considered OK. And this is the only city on which I can't build stuff. The game should just forbid building on beach tiles by default. EDIT: OK, I see your point. It appears to be that there's really not much free space around that city. It will be made clear when I'll build my next beach city.
I didn't explore entire world to date, so what I encountered could be just continent templates or sort of. If someone can prove that maps are random or predefined, input is welcome!
So this is a bug? The game forbids to build cities on forest squares, so this should work with beach squares, obviously.
In Patches We Believe... =)
I've placed a city on beach tile, hoping of making it something like port town or coastal fortress... But the result was disappointing, I can't build anything! Is this a glitch or intended this way? And well, how do I make harbors, if not building cities on the beach? O_o
So where are random maps? I've started 3 new games so far, and two of them were on exactly same map! Well, I was starting on Large map and didn't explore it yet, but the starting location was exactly same, with only resources spawned randomly. Third time I got another starting location, but I wonder if it was just because I've made custom nation. Looks like they have pre-set locations for pre-set nations, and the custom ones are spawned randomly. Or do I miss something
Ahh, that ‘unanswered’ question… I’ve really answered it. Flyout menu doesn’t work because I have somethong about 20+ games and the list is growing constantly. It’s a headache to find the game I want to play using flyout menu, as I can see about 6-5 items on-screen simultaneously. I’ll have to spin that damn wheel for ages. As I’ve mentioned in that post, shared launchpads (which are really shared toolbars) are easily made
No, it's not easier. There's no shared dock feature. I've already posted about this, but was ignored. =(
UPDATE. Well, that problem occurred the FIRST time I restarted after installing 6.3. When I’ve restarted for second time, the problem disappeared. Even more, I am pleased that fonts set as larger than usual now display almost correctly, without ripping off all the windows (especially title bars) … =)
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. After updating WindowsBlinds to 6.3, it doesn’t apply any skin completely, it just adds some random elements of that skin. When I first encountered it, I was applying LaST skin and thought it was a glitch, so I’ve tried some more skins hoping they will work normally. Now my windows are crapped up with elements of 3+ skins I tried to apply. And every time I start new app, it has some elements of one skin and some of another. Taskbar and sta
Flyout menus are good if there are about 3-5 items, otherwise they become frustrating. Nice idea, though, will give it a try. Especially when creating Mac-like bottom dock that replaces Windows taskbar, hehe. =))
I have multiple Windows accounts on my computer, so each family member can use their own settings. But there’s one thing we use together, GAMES! So what did I do? I’ve made two folders with shortcuts to games we play, one for small games and other for big ones. Now I’ve dragged these folders to edge of the Desktop, and they’ve became toolbars! I did the same thing for all Windows accounts, so we have now shared toolbars on edges of our Desktops. When I install a new game, I add a shortcut to app
