Would it be too much to ask for Stardock to take the trouble to tell us SUBSCRIBERS where our version of 1.1 is to be found? I mean, like, what is up with this? (And no, assuming "last RC" is it is not Good Enough. Really.

LMAO. The quoted "experts"! The complete misapplication of the concept of consistency across apps for a user as a justification for consistency across all users is particularly hilarious. It's either a joke, a troll for traffic on the site, or a muffled cry for help, the kind where you send professionals. Really!

If you could make the ships have more "realistic" textures/skins, I think that would help a lot with the "feel" of the game. Or else go completely the other way and use "markers" such as the HQ used on battle boards, little toy ships, planes, tanks, etc. Either way they have to seem really wonderful, I think. They are the "tokens" you're moving around the "board".

Which store would you most like to be in (local to you)? Go there. Talk to the manager. Get your game in there. Follow up on its performance weekly. IF it starts to sell well, ask for referrals...if it doesn't, either try a few other stores or fuggitaboudit in that channel. My wife got her (very local) book in all the big chains local outlets this way. Your experience suggests to me game publishing is like tv/film distributing: only the distributor ever seems to get an

I don't know if this is what you're expecting (let me know): When I click Random for a race, something should appear to tell me it "took". When I clicked on my scout inside my system list, my view screen turned solid gray, no details. I forget how, but I could get back to the normal view, just couldn't get the scout to come out and play. :) When I buy a ship, there is a screen to choose who builds it, bastards of various kinds or Microsoft. There is no indication when I click on one

Thanks, Brad. Good to have character descriptors like that. So for "strategic outlook", does my list (taken from the GalCiv story material available so far) about fit each race? The Yor "mission" is to "destroy", right? (and so on?)

I'm making a Stellar Frontier mod in honour of GalCiv. I need a one-word description of each race's strategic outlook. Here's what I'm thinking, please suggest alternatives if you can: Arcean - Ready Altarian - Evade Drengin - Conquer Torian - Liberate Terran - Defend Yor - Destroy What do you think?

Not sure what to do with them, but I seem to have made two systems produce two each. I double clicked on the red outlined shield I think and it showed me the system's contents and there were these two little blips below the planets, bars, they looked like, so I double clicked (single not doing anything) them and each in turn appears just outside the star on the main screen.

I would enjoy being able to zoom in and out on the main screen area. I get lost sometimes. The little "key" area display top right goes away and doesn't always come back when I'd like to get my bearings. Not clear to me if I can get that back on demand, so a zoom function might be good.

You have a 3 column vertical layout for Drengin.Net CM, but the elements of the first column tend to have been designed for horizontal display, especially GC. You should consider a 3 row, horizontal layout for the thing if you want to keep the horizontal tendency going in the names/logos of the games.

Say, where are the instructions? I'm staring to think you all are playing based on your previous experience so you *know* what to do. I'm looking at the screens and not always seeing what might be the obvious thing to do... ;)
