could you post the recipe? I may need to do some taste-testing. 1 Egg 1 "Big Gulp" Mt Dew (any 32oz-er will do, but we all know that the 7-11 Big Gulp is the best). 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 tsp Nutmeg Crack egg into a bowl, add vanilla extract, beat with a wire wisk until it's all pr
Apparently the people who make such faux pas ridden signs were once the subject of all the "Slow Children At Play" signs. You can't feel too badly for them though. As adults they seem to find gainful employment at either the city Public Works sign department, or all the construction sites that boast, "Slow Men at Work". ;~D
and what, may I ask, is wrong with a good Mt Dew Nog once in awhile?? I'll tell you, I used to donate plasma twice a week, but they finally quit accepting mine because both my plasma and urine samples were such a pure grade of Mt. Dew, it could easily be rebottled!! As for Geek Christmas, have you ever tried to find Christmas Tree Orniments based on RPGs or fantasy card gam
To tell you the truth, many of us in EMS have pretty much stopped using lights and sirens on highways. Because of current emergency vehicle operation laws, we really aren't allowed to go much more than 10mph over the speed limit. Also, with so few drivers reacting correctly to our sirens, it has become more of a danger than efficient. Thanks for the inspiration, I'll have to make this the topic of a satire sometime.
You probably forgot Olive and Glee (<><>) Hmmmm, should I play the spoiler, just to steal the thunder from Sugar High Elf, or let her have all the fun??
In a culture where all adhesive bandages are "Band~Aids", all petroleum jellies become "Vasoline", all sparkling white wines are "Champaign", all copies are "Xeroxed", doing an internet search is "Googling", any plastic disc you throw for fun is a "frisbee" and fruit-flavored, ground cow bone by-products are all Jell-O, why shouldn't the symbols of the cultural side of Christmas come from Coca-Cola, Haddon Sundblom and Montgomery Ward??? _____
Once a King, always a King, but once a night is enough!!! G'nite!!
According to the press, the only thing the Coalition is doing in Iraq is dying and abusing prisoners. I don't mind them reporting on such things, since it is "news", but it is telling that they seem to hate reporting anything about the progress being made. Thanks for taking the time to learn the facts, and for posting them here. Another good website that shows progress by our troops in Iraq is Defendamerica.mil: <a href="htt
9: Please remove all irregularly-shaped rings or other finger ornaments before applying method Yes, that would be good advice. Unless you feel it leaving them on would add to the experience.
Yeah, Bored.com is a cool website, isn't it!! ;~D
For me (and many others in various situations I've been in) the question of "who would I die for" is pretty impersonal. The Army, Search & Rescue, Paramedic and Wildland Firefighter have all placed me (as well as others) in positions where we could lose our lives helping others. If I'm willing to take on that responsibility for those I don't know, I can't think of anyone I do know that doesn't deserve the same. When it comes
The "dress code" of the air marshals should be, "whatever you need to wear to fit in". I had a security job, busting shoplifters, for awhile. The greatest compliment I ever had was a time when 3 of the store employees followed me around, suspecting me of being a shoplifter!! lol
don,t matter if the question was a set up or not, just that is was asked and addressed It matters greatly that the reporter circumvented an oportunity for the troops to talk with Sec. Rumsfeld. Reporters are always using the excuse "we don't get involved, we just report the outcome". That be
Well, apparently the reporter is bragging about how he brought the soldier to the meeting just to ask the question, and set it up so that the soldier would be asked. The fact there was cheering in response to the question says a lot about the legitimacy of the question. The fact that this "reporter" is too immature to actually do his job, is pathetic.
There are two situations here. 1: The question was valid, and the situation should be taken seriously. 2: The facts behind the question. The question is one that many of us who have served have wondered for years. The answer to the question (politics aside) is the fact that government contracts are awarded based on the absolutely most stupid criteria possible. Contracts are awarded to the LOWEST BIDDER!! Gu
The correct way to wipe requires but 1 square of toilet paper: 1: Take square and fold it in half horizontally (creating a rectangle). [:::::: ] 2: Fold rectangle in half vertically, from left to right(creating a square). [::] 3: Tear off upper left hand corner (save torn corner). 4: Completely unfold square of toilet paper. My second son (17 years old) IS my young self. I love him to death but the similarities are driving me crazy!! lol Yes, there are times I'd love to "smack" (and throttle works too) my young self!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why try to assert your individuality trying to be more like everyone else than anyone else.
Great ones!! Here's a few more... If the line "all night with the boys" is no longer a good thing... you might be a parent! If you can correctly name all the teletubbies... you might be a parent!
It's never a good idea to go up against the character the movie was named for, or the actors whose names appear above the title. Detectives can't figure out crimes any sooner than 10 minutes before the end of the film (even if everyone in the audience figured it out 10 minutes after the movie started). The sorriest troop in the unit will earn the Medal of Honor attempting to save the most heroic one (if it's a chick flick, he will
enjoying the thrill of ancipation, I hesitate in opening the door. Such moments are much to rare and far too exhilirating. To throw open the door (as every muscle in my trembling soul cried out for) would be an insult to the mounting expectation of what awaits on the other side. What came next, no human should have to endure...
Jesus was a radical rabbi who had no idea that some A type personalities were going to use his bio to set up an organized religion. I'll have to disagree with you on this one. Jesus called 12 leaders, taught them his "radical" gospel, then charged them to go teach the world (or am I misreading "If yo
I know it probably comes as a shock to get a reply this long after your article was posted, but hey it's 4:17 and I had nothing better to do that peruse past Humor articles. I think your choice of names for your candies was pretty indicative of you and your friends ability to cook. A lot of people who use those terms have no idea what they actually mean. If you do, and their meaning had something to do with the reason your chose them
Yes, but when was the last time a journalist or celebrity achieved historical stardom based on "alterations?" Or became more popular? Isn't it much the same? The "alterations" didn't make give them more range or talent. They do get them noticed, but if you are talking about "historical stardom" very f
it was once again unfair advantage. late 80s thru 90s, darrel strawberry and others were examples of how drugs impair natural abilities. and now were back to performing beyond ability. So what you are saying is... "One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small... and the ones that mo
