Not sure if you saw this or not BUT firaxis laid off some employees recently. Not sure what this means for civ 5 or the future of the studio and that isn't something to discuss here. It might be a reasonable business practice for you though to go after some of these people...firaxis was in the business of making turn based strategy games so me (a non programmer) thinks the experience would be similar enough to make them useful. *shrug* No idea really if its a good idea or no

Thanks for the update on the diggs...now to just win a beta account on voodo. On the "take a picture of yourself with your elemental stuff" um...we don't have any official elemental stuff yet..so should we make some or am I missing something here? Thanks!
Can you facebook like the page on gamespot for the game? Have it tracked and on my wishlist and have my facebook account connected to my gamespot account...but can't seem to find a like button.
Thanks..so the beginning of this month is not recent enough for digging stuff huh. Ah well. Still up in the 52nd rank now...my climb continues!
So my facebook friend was rejected and I couldn't find out why...do I need to have you as a friend so you can see my site? Did I post the wrong link or friend the wrong page? Thanks, and thanks for the list of dig links...now to figure out various ways to mention the game on my anime podcast...
Ok to make sure it is clear I am not in the beta (no money to buy another game right now) and i am only going by what I see in the pics and the various demos online. To me in these the graphics look on par with civ 4 which isn't good as civ 4 is an old game...I haven't played GC in any form. Looked even more complicated than civ 2 or 3 and I didn't have time for a game like that...not sure I will have time for a game like this honestly but it at least looks like you could play a g
So I am interested in how this game is turning out especially with the fact that it doesn't seem to be dumbed down for the masses. I like that, though honestly I wish the graphics looked a little better. Still my biggest worry is the AI. This seems to be a massively complicated game. Is the ai just generally going to be given various increasing bonuses at each level or is it going to be actually able to think and plan? Honestly I haven't found a strategy game y
I know that TV ads give an initial push to your national stance on an issue, but the weekly change they create is that on a national or state basis? The manual is not very helpful on this score. Also how is the national position on an issue measured? Has anyone also figured out how to read the bars that you see when you click on your canidates info? Supposed to be three bars one for your stance one for the states and one the nations I think but I c
Let me start by saying that I love this game! One complaint was in the manual, it was a little breif and left out some things that were important. For example took me a while to figure out that the changes to position for all advertizements were just in that state (thought the weekly changes for TV adds were national, not just the begining bonus). As for the ideas presented here. Some are obviously not possible but they would still be nice (camp
