Thank you for your quick response. If I understand you correctly, this would only work for me then, and not for anybody who uses my skin in the future. So I will leave it as it is. Thank you again.

This is done in Skinstudio in: "Edit Titlebars and WindowFrames" in the specific subsection. If you want to edit the buttons for the PerPixelFrames for instance, you change them in "Edit PerPixelButtons". You'll have to edit the graphics to make the buttons smaller. Use transparency on .png files, or "Magic Pink" (255,0,255) on bmp files, to set parts of the existing images transparent. Or create new images, which are smaller by default. Hope this helps. I'm a beginner in s

Hello, Skinning Community. I'm currently working on an own skin for XP, using Skinstudio 6.09. I'm almost done. But one of the things left, is to edit / remove the Windows logo in the upper right corner of the explorer window. I have looked in several options, but wasn't able to find the image (or maybe glyph). Can anyone give me a hint?

@ Cavan1: Yes, I missed that option. But when I compared the "package builder" option and the way I did it, I noticed, that not all default icons won't show up in the "files" section. Maybe that will change in future builds.

Hi DAVIDINTEL. I know what you mean. In earlier builds of the program, there was an option, where you could open a "new" package and apply icons to the default ones. In the latest build (i think since the 3.99 builds) I missed that option. But here's how you can do the same. - rightklick on the "windows default icons" in the "look & feel" tab - choose "load Icon Package" - and switch on the "Icons & Cursor" tab There you will find "all" default

I've upgraded via SDCenter lately. Everything fine so far. But I can't find the resize option, where you can change the size of the icons under OS. Before upgrading I chose 64px, and now I can't revert back to 48px. Do I have to change to an earlier release now? Or am I just blind? (:(

I understand. But I just thought, I could change settings to a german server (similar as I could do with the timeservers for various widgets). i.e you open settings or an .ini file, and replace the adress to the server. But I missed that possibility. It's not THAT important to me, but would have been nice. (Hope my english isn't too rusty to explain my concern) Thanx for your answers.

No. The same problem here. But... I'm using XP 32Bit. And it shows me (since I've installed the latest beta) the XP standard icons for my DVD-Drives with every theme I apply. If I change the icons manually they show only correct since the next restsrt. X-(

Ups, you're right. ;) But the problem concerns both - Object Dock and DesktopX. So when you know how to change the server for ONE of them, it would be a great help to me.

Thank you. I'm not skilled in coding exe or other files. Only html or text-based files like xml, ini etc. So I have to live with that. :) Thanks again.

Hello SD Community. I asked myself, if it would be possible to change the weather-server the DX-Widgets point to, but I couldn't find a responsible file in the programs folder. Background: I'm living in Germany. And the weather widgets seem to point at a server in the US. That causes a delay in showing the right day in the morningtime. e.g. this morning is friday, but it shows thursday as current day. Can anybody help to solve this for me?
