SkinStudio 5.0.1 -> Major Issues in SkinStudio WinCustomize Forums

Hello WinCustomizers! The community has treated me well for quite some time now, and it's now the first time that i've really needed to reach out for help. IconPackages and IconLibraries in IconDeveloper General WinCustomize Forums

Hey guys, just finished my first IconPackage, when I compile it (Zip Package), then Open the package to test it, all the icons become seperated and are titled 0 to 100 (eg: JosephsART Icon 001). Howcome when I download most packages I can extract the IconPackage and get 2 files, a .ip and .icl. What I want to do is Compile as a Library, not seperate icons. Anyone know how?

Translucency on the Startpanel in SkinStudio Help WinCustomize Forums

Hello everyone, I've stumbled apon this problem before and I think I was able to bypass it, but does anyone have trouble when they use Translucent .tga's for components in the Startpanel. Making an object, for example, the Places List, Translucent sometimes doesn't refresh the background behind it when switching windows, backgrounds or anything that would lay behind the Translucent image. I found TGTsoft's App for making Visual styles. Can't import WB however App looks similar to SkinStudio. Graphics have to be compiled differently though. I might make my skins in this app first, then convert to WB. Submitt to at once

Yeah, but some people would prefur other various parts of the skins. And to my knowledge, The themebuilder app thingo doesn't have Rainlendar support

You need Photoshop to make the best Bootskins. First thing you must know is each image must be a 4-Bit Bitmap (As in Quality, not Colours) First, after converting your 640x480 background to 16 Adaptive Colours save the colour table somwhere. Next, create a 22x9 blank document and place you image on it. Then goto Mode and convert it to the 16 colours again. And there is a button to import from colour table. Import your saved Colour table
