After more testing, it seems that clicking out of that excel window into another and then going back again has the same impact. The timing is still weird, so it could be related. Going to disable S11 for a day or two and see if the behavior changes. Will report back.

I've been having an issue for months but never considered it could be related to S11. I open an excel spreadsheet and while working, I suddenly can't move between cells (mouse or kybd). Trying to click on a new tab in excel just causes a slight flash in the UI. I can still select the menu and if I save and reopen the workbook, it might work for a few minutes or it might almost immediately start doing it again. I found that if I right-click S11 and uncheck the "Use Start11 Start Menu" option,
I believe you are correct. Missed it. Thanks!
I've got a Surface Pro Laptop connected to a dock. There is a slightly larger, higher-res monitor on the dock. When I close the lid and sleep the unit, the Start11 taskbar moves to the top of the laptop screen when I reopen it. It's not clickable (and on the other monitor, it's still in the proper location). I end up hitting CTL-ALT-DEL and signing out. When I sign back in, the problem goes away. Windows 11, latest updates/patches applied.
Windows 11 (21H2 build 22000.318), fully patched. Removed Fences but was on the release before the current build. No WindowBlinds or Curtains, but I am using CursorFX.
Since the update, some icons don't show transparent like the rest of the taskbar. If you drag the mouse over them they look correct, but change back shortly thereafter. Also, not sure if it's S11 or Fences 4 - space bar stops working in various apps. Only way to fix is restart explorer. It then comes back later. Just removed Fences to see if it goes away.
FYI: I was able to resolve both issues by reinstalling S11. As soon as it was installed, the alignment issue went away. I then found the option for moving the location on the second monitor (didn't even have that selected earlier, so not sure how it changed to the top, but it's fixed).
The address toolbar in prior versions of Windows has been around forever and is now gone in W11. Many of us rely heavily on the fact that you can quickly get to your recent history of sites, URI's and other items right from the toolbar. Would LOVE to see this come back via S11.
Was testing various size options for the taskbar and magically, the taskbar on my right monitor moved to the top of the screen (main screen, it stayed on the bottom). There's no drag option so I'm not sure how to move it back. Uninstalled S11 to see if it would fix it, but it did not. Any chance there's a script or something to restore all default behavior somehow? Also, since uninstalling, some items sit lower in the taskbar than others. For example, look at the items to the right of t
