Glad that justice will finally prevail and hopefully you can finally put this chapter behind you. Sometimes it's hard to be a "Good Samaritan" but in the end, I am sure Claude's family will appreciate all you have gone through to get this guy convicted. Good Luck! Varoom

On the contrary... I used to love christmas. I despise what it has become. Funny stuff! So glad you did another rant. So......when you USED to love Christmas, what would you say was your favorite any why?
Been part of a project team opening large superstores for the last three months - even in your State...Riverdale, Utah as well as Phoenix and Oregon. Haven't had a lot of time to be online but now that I am home for awhile, I have time to catch up on interesting reading, which I always find your articles. Your humor keeps me chuckling! Are you working another tech job as well as the Taxi driving or is this your new calling....
My goodness, you have an interesting life! Haven't been around for awhile...What happened to your high-tech traveling job? Sounds like you have the makings of a weekly column...the trials and tribulations of the taxi guy...think about it...hahaha
I went up to San Simeon oh oh oh oh oh....I am so jealous!! You passed by my favorite beach!! I love the central coast area, the wineries, the orchards, Hearst Castle, etc. Would love to hear what you did along the rest of the trip...looking forward to the update. Melissa
so where are you headed after L.A. ?
Glad to hear you are reclaiming your life back! Money and the dangling offer of moving up the ladder are always nice enticements, but in the end, you start to resent the job when you find it is interfering with you living your life. It may be too soon to bring this up, but I will. I hope with you not having a job where you are always out of town, that you can really look for that relationship that is out there waiting for you again. ( I remember in
I have friends who are at Hill Air Force base in Layton, Utah. They love the area and the town there. I have been to the area twice and it is close enough to Salt Lake City for the "big town" feel but far enough away to feel like there is country feel to it.
I'm not as well-travelled as you but here are a few of my "Best" and those I agree with you on. 1. Best Steak: The 22 oz. Porterhouse Steak at the Denver Chophouse across from Coors Field has to be my fav. I can't beleive I actually ate that big of a steak. 2. Best Seafood: The Beach House in Laguna Beach. It has been around for years. The best swordfish I have ever had ! If you sit outside on the small balcony, the ocean is ju

I was hoping for some input from the female perspective, but i guess it ain't gonna happen... Ah well. It sucks to lose someone when the relationship is going well instead of breaking up because things aren't working. I hope things get easier for you every day. My perspective would be this....I think
And nice to see ya again! Thanks! I haven't been on in a few months. Clicked on today and the very first article I saw had your name in it which was a nice suprise. I have always enjoyed your sense of humor in your articles. I haven't had the urge to be on much but kicking my ex-boyfriend to the cu
Balboa is my favorite beach in all of california... I beg my boss to send me here any chance i can get it. And nice to see ya again! Thanks Thatoneguy, I have been around, just not commenting much, especially with all the venom that has been spewed on here lately, but I always read your stuff. Do you
Hope it stops raining for you while you are there. I love that area, especially the old side, Balboa, with the old boardwalk. I can relate to the rain, as I just got back last Friday from seeing friends in Dana Point, which isn't too far from where you are at. Have a great time there, even if it is work-related. Melissa (Varoom)
Alias is my absolute favorite also...and now "Lost". I think that now that it will have a Wednesday night time slot, it will do much better. It is up against West Wing, which I still like but will have to be taping going forward.
Celebrate each small accomplishment you have and the getting up and fixing yourself up each day to go out will continue to boost your confidence...it is important to have a regular routine to keep yourself from getting too depressed. I have stayed away from commenting on your situation but am happy you are back blogging...it is an important tool to your emotional health. Varoom (Melissa)
I work for a major fabric and craft retailer and knitting (needle arts in general) has had a huge resurgance in the last few years. We have guys who come in and buy yarn and fabric for quilting...even show their stuff at fairs. I have read about NFL players who knit in their spare time because it is relaxing so you are in great company and based on the fact that my store is constantly out of yarn, it is becoming more and more popular...KNIT ON!!!
Funniest thing I have read in days...thanks for the laugh. BTW....does this sofa have a name? Varoom (Melissa)
Wow!! Beautiful car!! My nickname (Varoom) is because I love fast cars and that is a beauty! I think I read one of your earlier post that you did the work yourself? The U of U plates....are you a U Grad? Do you know Urban Meyer? lol Can you send him to Washington so I can drool over him in person? Oops...got off subject.... Varoom (Melissa)
I have kept completely out of all the hoopla about your blogs and usually only put out messages when something really moves me or irritates the hell out of me and this is one of them. I find it shocking to beleive you are almost out of school and act like you are 15 years old. You say you hope something bad doesn't happen to you....I would be shocked if something didn't happen to you in the near future. Your behavior is appalling. You set b

WOW!! What a great writer you are!! That is the most original peice I have read since I signed up. I hope you have a trademark on the TW as we wouldn't want any knock-off TW's being made for less....only the original will do!! Varoommmmmmm
Here goes my first time responding to the "Friday Five".... 1/ Where are your ancestors from? Maternal - English and Danish Fraternal - Irish and Scottish 2/ What have you lost lately? My will to work hard for my ass of a boss...lol, and more importantly, my ATM card, which I left in the machine after I bought stamps in it last night...Stupid Wells Fargo 3/ When did you la
Halloween is definately my favorite holiday also - I decorate inside and out, pull out all my scary movies, and watch the week of Halloween, one a night. Unfortunately I have to work Saturday night when many of the trick or treaters will be out and about which is a shame cause I LOVE scaring the crap outta them!! Sunday night is a big party with a bunch of old friends I haven't seen in four years. Now just curious ThatoneGuy....I h
