Well that seemed to be the problem, it appears to be working now. Thanks for your help. Still have some hinky behaviors in StarDock apps (not the games) but they arent worth the effort to track down. Thanks again.
Well Hell I'm sitting here stuck with THIS as my start button and Start 11 will NOT change it. :( and no suggested help. seriously getting sick of it. Trying this but nothing happens. well I tried to snip an image out of Start11 to show the Bio-hazard icon I wanted to use instead of that half moon garbage that I don't know where it came from.

I am running Windows Blinds and Curtains HOWEVER I had everything set up the way I wanted BEFORE the problems started happening out of the blue for no apparent reason exce3pt possibly an Update to Windows 10 21/H2. Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times with reboots
My issue is not with search it's the look of the Start Button Icon on the task bar...it cannot bve change anylonger, the colors of the task bar and other non search functions I am using Ver. 1.24 on Win 10 21/H2 and no Dragon sftare installed ever.
It runs the process but there is very little in the way of functionality, the icon cannot be changed, you can sort of get the task bar left aligned, but some times switches to centered, you can change between classic and windows 11 styles of start menus but it is not too consistent either. Hmm I see now there is another update so I will install that and try again
I currently have limited technical skills due to health issues, and forgive me it is your product and you sell it shouldnt you be tring to repproduce aand trouble shooot it on yoir end?

Umm it also does NOT function properly with Win 2010 and I dont use Dragon This is purely Win 10 ver 21H2 and Start 11 I can Send a DXXDIAG if you need to fix start 11.
Well the crashes have quieted down, but start 11 does not appear to do anything other than control the start layout old new and 2011 type views. Hope SD can fix it.
Well I am on 10 as my PC Cannot run 11 due to no TPM ability on my motherboard :P (Thanks MS for telling me Im not secure enough to run your product) but hopefully those directions will suffice. thank you very much.
Due to some brain damage I would need express instructions on how to do that. I believe I have One Drive set upp but do not use it much for anything.
Yes that is the process I used and there was a send report button in there somewhere. Next time Ill look closer.
No Idea I just click on the "Send Report" button. Never tried to dig into it....I assuemed since Stardock wanted me to use it...it was going to them.
Well just putting in an update, in the last week I have had a half dozen crashes of the explorer and Start 11 and Fences are the apps being called out by the crash dump app Stardock suggested, Ive sent in the reports each time.... Start 11 is about useless now. Hope Fences doesn't go the same route, Has Stardock had any news on the issue? Oh and I do NOT own or use Dragon...precisely because it is expensive and I have become disabled and handicapp
I set up the Software to get the dump if it crashes again, unfortunately MS patched again and the lockups stopped but Start 11 and Fences are still not functioning properly.

Fences and Start 11 have stopped working properly for me I believe it was due to a recent Microsoft Blunder, they patched things and messed up in the naming and pathing cant get to My PC without going through a hassel, The Start 11 will not change the Start Button Icon and Fences is constantly complaining that Explorer has closed improperly and wipes out the desktop Icons I had set.

As for how I find out about software, it is usually from things I subscribe to, like Stardock mag, or Steam announcements or word of mouth.
Stardock May 2019 Magazine, Im kind of interested in the unannounced software that makes games. It should be an interesting ride.. When Beta Testers are needed perhaps I can be included. MagiK1

I uninstalled Deskape8 and manually installed the 10Beta using my current OD product key just fine, but should it not show up in OD?
