It's not a problem. It's just a matter of preference. I like diversity and I can't remember a time I didn't have two different wallpapers for each desktop. If it's a feature not present in the current release, I'd love to see it added to a later version, though I'm not sure how big the demand would be. The same background on multiple displays just seems so bland to me.

I have a dual-monitor setup. The resolutions and aspect ratios are different, but that seems to be working correctly (win7 home premium). I can't seem to find a way to make Deskcapes work on only one monitor. Is there any way to run Deskscapes on my secondary display and have a it disabled on my primary (or at least a static deskscape)?
