as I said "twice" before, ExplorerPatcher fixed the glitch that was caused. It does not come back on reboot and I can use the search with or without the box and the enhanced taskbar works as it should. I have rebooted for updates several times already and the glitch doesn't resume. That was my point. It removed your glitch. Obviously Stardock is obligated to issue an official fix, but for those of us who have work to get done without being forced to fistfight our computers,

yes I have, ExplorerPatcher is a shell replacement for explorer.exe and it uses strict default values of windows as well as default registry strings that control the windows interface. The code from Windows 10 is still in windows 11, it's just deactivated. ExplorerPatcher simply changes the code back to default settings for explorer.exe which is the Windows shell. As stated on other sites, you can even use Notepad.exe as the shell if you know the right command string. I abso
the PC Fix: 1. Download ExplorerPatcher and a fresh copy of Start11 v2 but do not install! 2. use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Start 11 - choose to remove from ALL profiles including leftover items. 3. on the scan page - choose ADVANCED - the one with the GEAR icon. 4. when the uninstall completes, say NO to reboot. then install ExplorerPatcher . 5. change the taskbar version back and forth between windows 10 and windows 11 a couple of times, ma
the ARM update was issued to ALL, not just mobile devices. I think that was part of the issue. I found a fix for PC that may or may not work for others. Will post if asked. It looks like the ARM update that was pushed to PC users "glitched" the windows shell setting . My fix corrected this issue and I am working normally now.
Same issues here from day one. it's very difficult to restart explorer when your entire desktop input is frozen. was working flawlessly prior to the ARM update. Unfortunately I deleted the older version. The issue is with ARM coding, not explorer! because the issue started AFTER the ARM update was installed.

Ok, finally working again. I am so happy to have this back! However I noticed that it's not playing nice with start 11. They fist fight for control when I change skins and I have to re-log to get the right fx.
I have the same issue and no skins will apply outside of W11 default
I would like to add a culinary note of importance. When referring to the peppers themselves the correct spelling is CHILE, whereas the dish (stew) is CHILI. Thank You! (my gamer buddies will love this, even if I have to conquer them and make it the only food source!)
windowblinds stopped dead cold on its own after some KB update from microsoft and that is why I installed curtains in its place. and I did DL and install the most recent version months PRIOR to windows 11 and it still wouldn't run. in fact I was watching the screen when it shut itself down originlly.
oh I already know about the transparency glitches. I figured out a solution on day one. just disable the in-app transparency settings for now until the dev finds a fix for the incompatibility. it works better after that. for the record, its the only problem on my machine. windowblinds however died outright after 20h2. hasnt worked since.
No, all apps are titled except for the ones that should not have titles.
actually I have curtains 1.19 installed and working under windows11. the 1.19.1 release breaks the functionality. I have also gotten more than one update under windows 11 until this release.
