I wrote an AutoIt script that will launch OD2 for you, after adjusting the INI file to point all tabbed docks to their first tab (tab 0). You can find the script at http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/137847-start-objectdock-on-default-tab .

I realize it is a few months after the last posting, but I would also like to be able to set the default tab for OD2. I don't want it starting with whatever the last tab access was. I also have my status docklets and my most used icons on one tab, and others categorized into other tabs.
Does it matter what dock background you are using?
Right now I am just using the default background. I figured I would tweek that after getting things set up the way I like them. The jump to the edge seems to happen if I get closer than the width of the tabs (vertical orientation, so somewhere around 32px?)

Thank you for the quick replies. @ Onklifiziert, Unfortunately, that stetting grabs the entire edge of the screen, when my dock only occupies the top 1/3 of the edge. I notice that there is an auto-hide checkbox option when reserve edge is enabled, but is greyed when reserve edge is disabled. I really just want that option to be avail

I have ObjectDock Plus 2, and am enjoying is well, though I do have one feature request. I would like to be able to create a tabbed dock, and have the ability to disable the hiding of the icon portion of the dock. I want the tabs AND the icons visible at all times (for one of my docks). Thank you.
