I have uninstalled the standalone version of WB. I tried to add the new serial number from OD and got the same error message. I removed the old serial number from the standalone version. A message said that this would only remove the number from the screen and if it's associated with Impulse it would not be changed. I don't want you to loose anymore sleep so I thank you for your reply's but, I think I may have to get Stardock involved and have then cancel my old serial number and add the new
I apopogize for my misunderstanding. I have uninstalled the standalone version twice rebooted and then loaded Impluse. The old serial number is the only one to come up. I get an error message saying the serial number I entered for the Object Desktop is not from Stardock. I am sorry for not understanding. [e digicons]:|[/e]
Not to be rude but your explanation doesn't seem feasible. The standalone version will end in December of this year and the WindowBlinds that comes with Object Desktop was just purchased yesterday and won't expire untill this time next year. Doing it your way will cause me to loose six months on the new subscription at the end of this year. There has to be another way? I am the legal owner of two (2) copies of WindowBlinds 7 and one expires six (6) months later than the other. Thanks for the
I just purchased Object Desktop. The concern is that I already own a registered copy of WindowBlinds 7. I want to place the rogue copy on another computer that I own. I have tried to uninstall WindowBlinds and reinstall but the old serial number is used. I want the Object Desktop serial number on this computer and the standalone version of WindowBlinds for my other computer. Both computers have the same email address and I want to remove the standalone serial number to the other computer and
I am a registered user of Windowblinds 7. I am considering purchasing Object Desktop. How will that effect the Windowblinds I already have installed? What becomes of the version of Windowblinds I already own? Can I put it on another computer as a standalone application legally? [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Read that a new version of Fences was available at Download.com. I used the following link to download the update. http://download.cnet.com/Fences/3000-2072_4-10909535.html?tag=mncol;txt . Once I downlooaded the file it was version 0.95.0.0. What's the deal? If Download.com is suppose to be the source why don't they have the version mentioned? [e digicons]X|[/e] [e digicons]X|[/e] &n
I too am having problems with WindowBlinds 6.4. I had been using it and all of a sudden it just went bottoms up. I am a registered user and I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Can't supply info on installation because I can't access the program. I have turned in a support request to Tech Support Ticket Number: JWD-852407 and I'm waiting on a reply. What would cause a program to just stop working? I wonder if there is some kind of timestamp involved with the program? After a certain date
I'm also having the same problem with WindowBlinds 6.4. Every product you get from Stardock is always in the Beta stage when they are released to the public for sale?? I have had problems with Impulse, MyColors, Theme Manager and just about anything affiliated with Stardock. Stardock hopes that you will let them get away with a bunch of hoopla because of it. It's really bad to distribute programs for a price and then try and work the bugs out. I don't need any comments from the peanut ga
Don't really know who you are but if you had actually read my previous post it was never stated that I thought my computer was being infected. I was the one who asked if this was a false positive. I checked with Comodo and was assured that this was a false positive, and the problem may be with the software. If you had taken the time to read other forum posts on this same matter you would have seen that this has been a problem since the middle of May. Remember " Be sure brain is engaged before
