Hello, I wait and wait. Several new versions of Start11 have been released. In each case, the problem clears up for two or three weeks, then returns exactly as it was before, usually after an update from MS: upon Boot, after logging in on login screen, MS displays a black screen and the OS does not respond; except recently MS now displays a message that the security shut down dialogue cannot be displayed / please use the power switch to restart the computer after I press Ctl-

So, clean boot and look for what? I have already reported that normal boot with WB11 disabled in Services eliminates the problem. I do not see how a clean boot will be useful, since that is typically used to identify a service or app that causes or is related to the problem. I have in already located the offending service: Stardock WindowBlinds and/or Windows Search Shell Feeds UI in the Taskbar. And as I have already reported, I have deferentially tested Start11 a
Yes, done before testing the styles in the list. Are you affiliated with (or do you work for) Stardock, or are you a self-appointed 'community advisor'?

Upon installing, WB11 properly recognized the folder containing the styles. I have around 40 styles in the folder. However, many of the styles fail to load in WB11 as available to select. When I navigate to the folder and try to open a style (its .uis file), I receive an error message that WB11 cannot find a .uis file for this item. Here is the bizarre error message, even for a style that is correctly installed
This week Object Desktop said to update Start 10. I clicked Update. Installer said update 1.9.7 to 1.97? I said yes. Next day, Object Desktop said (again) to update Start 10. I clicked Update. Installer said (again) update 1.9.7 to 1.97? I said yes (again). Today, Object Desktop said (again) to update Start 10. What is going on here? Configuration says 1.97 is installed. If I delete Start 10 and reinstall it, will I
Hmm. User error? I swear it was doing that for nearly a week, then today: NOT. Then, I see I got another Win update last night. Smoke and mirrors, most certainly. Carry on.
With the latest 1909 Win 10 updates and no other update-related Windows errors, Icon Packager shows only one Icon for the default Windows icon set. When choosing to apply "these" icons, all icons except one are empty on the desktop. How can I apply the default Icons?
Sounds good. I anticipate success with this. Thank you. danMS
Clicked and visited site. Time passed, no download dialog appeared.
Mine as well. I receive the notice that there is an update to WB. Current version 10.74 (054....). Update to new version 10.74 (054....), the same version. This occurs weekly since first installing 10.74 054. Over and over. Is there an error somewhere in how my system reports current version to your server, or is there an error somewhere in how your server assesses the version number I send to you, such that the result is always that a "new" update is a
I visited this site, and I found no mention of Impulse there. Can you provide better instructions on how to remove Windowblinds 7, so I can install 8? Windowblinds is YOUR product, not Gamestop's, so why don't YOU provide removal instructions? Thanks, Dan
Well, you see... This business about doing something a little "off" or "out of line" and then going to hell for it is old stuff. I mean really old. So old that the fact of the matter is that it has already happened! Depending on your attitude about it, THIS is hell. We're already there! It happend a long time ago, and the really hellish part about it is that most of us simply haven't figured that out yet. Not, THAT's got to be hell, to be there suffering like all get-out and not knowing t
