I've tried several ways to solve my problem but nothing worked. What I did try: - reboot - unpin & pin again - unpin & pin c:\windows\system32\mstsc.exe directly The next thing that I was going to try is to reinstall Start8. But since it's not a big problem I didn't try it out yet.
Somehow on my PC, Remote Desktop Connection doesn't show a jump list button although it does have pinned and recent locations. What's strange is that it works fine on my laptop and it's the same link I used to pin the app. I don't really know if any other application does that but I must say that I'd like to use the jump list for this one.
