Idea OR Help needed

Right, well i was woundering is there a way to compleatly Close WindowBlinds not the unload feture as that still leaves the Display Properties Appirance, With windowsblind skins only.

i ask this because somethimes i run alot on my pc and it will start to lagg so i want to comfortably unload windowsblinds and still have a skin from the pathed dll- or a normal skin.

well thanks in advance for help.

I may be wrong {don't think I am} but the button on the Appearance tab of the Desktop Properties dialog does not use any resources. It could be argued that when you load that tab, Windows needs to draw one more button . . . but I don't think you'd notice that.

If you set your skin to Windows classic style WB is in effect not doing anything.

Unloading WB is as close as you can get to removing WB interaction before you hit the wall of uninstalling.

WB shouldn't be affecting system resources either. I've heard of WB making the system a bit quicker since it uses the graphic card.

I was wrong.

From the Stardock Knowledge base https://www.stardock.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=162&nav=0,37,42:
I don't want WindowBlinds integrated with Display Properties.
Unregister or delete the WBUI.DLL file from the WindowBlinds directory to remove its integration with Display Properties. You can unregister the file via Start / Run / regsvr32.exe
/u 'c:\program files\stardock\object desktop\windowblinds\wbui.dll'

But I still think that it's uneccessary.
