Pure Black Planet

Hello, I have seen 2 planets that are pure black. When I colonized them, the planet map was pure black along with the galaxy view. I clicked on each square and it shows up as different terrain types.

My Specs:
AMD Athalon XP 3000+
Windows XP
1 gb ram
ATI X800 pro
Beta 0.91

I'm running this off of an external hard drive.

It would help if you gave screenshots and to update all your drivers from video card to the recent windows updates. It happens to me as well the icon of the race is gone and the planet is missing, usually with a reboot of the game they come back or the click of the turn button.
